What is The Dead Parrots Society?

After over 20 years hosting the PARROTS OF THE CARIBBEAN, our famous island themed party for music lovers everywhere had finally met its un-timely demise. 

We, Madison Rotarians, have elected to hold a costume themed wake in its honor…We present: The 1st Annual Dead Parrots Society Bash.  Costumes of all shapes and sized are encouraged to be worn by our guests – and conveniently, you are able to wear your masks with style! 

Join us for The Dead Parrots Society Bash on October 30, 2021 in Madison, AL as we raise funds for Kid’s Kingdom Renovation in Dublin park and many other local and international service projects. Dead Parrots is a night of 

  • live music
  • dancing
  • dining (food trucks)
  • drinking,
  • on-line silent auction
  • fun filled night with your friends and neighbors
  • we have some seating, but please be sure to bring a folding chair with you! 

Break out your masks,  your costume of choice, and please bring your favorite outdoor chair, and join us for an adults-only evening. But remember, you must be 21 or over to attend and no outside food or drink is permitted!  The Rotary Club of Madison appreciates the generous contributions of local businesses and families that allow us to support both local and international needs.

Music & More

Dead Parrots Society Bash is a fun-filled evening of music, food, dance, and drink.  This year’s entertainment will be provided by DJ Nerdy Boy! This DJ is sure to get you out of your seat and on the dance floor or singing along with your friends. Be sure to toast to good tunes and good friends with a drink from the bar, and be sure to try our a signature cocktails!

DJ Nerdy Boy is bringing the music party to the Dead Parrots Society Bash! Be ready for songs from the '70s - 2020s! Great tunes for everyone.

Dancing & Costume Contests!

Hours of great music that willet out of your seat and on your feet! Lots of room! Socially Distant options will be available, of course.

Silent Auction Baskets

Specialty baskets to suit most any taste. From wine to reading, camo to golf, there is something for every taste. Submit your on-line bid at our auction website and take a shot at some really cool swag. Click the picture above to go to the Auction!

Food & Drink

This year food will be available for purchase from various Food Trucks on site.    Beverages, including Beer, wines, and a signature cocktails, will be available for purchase from our own Dead Parrots Bar,

Come on out and work up an appetite and thirst while you get your groove on. Then enjoy some tasty bites and righteous libations.

When & Where

This year’s event will be held in front of Black Patch Distillery in Madison, AL

  • All guests must be 21 or older with a valid ID
  • Folding Chairs are Encouraged and Allowable
  • Cooler, pets, strollers, and outside food and drinks are prohibited
  • No glass containers
  • Masks are encourage
  • All bags are subject to search on entry
  • This event will be held rain or shine
  • Temperature may be checked at gate

Tickets Are On Sale Now!

Tickets for the Dead Parrots Society Bash /Costume Party are available via Eventbrite. Tickets are $25 in advance or at the door.  And while we will collect your contact information, we won’t sell or give away your details.  That’s not how we roll.

**Sorry, but no coolers or outside food & drink.  No animals, other than service animals.Must be over 21 years old to attend. ID will be checked.

About the Rotary Club of Madison

The Rotary Club of Madison is involved in many activities starting here in the community and stretching to the world. We spearhead Done-In-A-Day projects, Youth Service programs, and Veteran activities which are designed to impact people’s lives in Madison.
