Parrotheads and music lovers everywhere are invited to don their grass skirts, Hawaiian shirts and island wear and join us for Parrots of the Caribbean, Madison's premier beach party. "Parrots" is a celebration of the Rotary Club of Madison's achievements supporting the local and international community, made possible by the generous contributions of local businesses and families. Parrots is a night of live music and dancing, dining and drinking, and just plain fun. Break out your tacky Aloha shirt and join us for an adults-only evening of tropical sounds and tastes.
Parrots is a fun-filled evening of live music, dinner, dance, and drink. This year's entertainment will include two of our favorite bands, Calypso Vision and Juice. From popular island music to funky dance, these bands are sure to get you out of your seat. Whether that is to the dance floor or to the bar is up to you. But while you are up, stop by the Prize Basket tent to take a chance on some really cool gift baskets.
Calypso Vision hopes to bring folks a relaxed spirit of good ol' rock and roll and a chance to dream of good times and riches & boats, bars, and beaches!
Two great bands, hours of great music. Get out of your seat and on your feet. If not the dance floor then at least the bar. Get down on it. If you really want it...
JUICE — Verb phrase — to add power or energy; to make exciting or spectacular! Get up on the dance floor and get Juiced!
Specialty baskets to suit most any taste. From wine to reading, camo to golf, there is something for every taste. Make a donation and take a shot at some really cool swag.
Dancing and chillaxin' are hard work, so we set out to bring you the finest beach party pupus and tipples. To satisfy your cravings, for the second year Parrots will be catered by Madison's own Old Black Bear Brewery. Come on out and work up an appetite and thirst while you get your groove on. Then enjoy some tasty bites and righteous libations.
Parrots is traditionally held the fourth Saturday in August. This year is no exception. So dust off your flip flops, rub on a little sunscreen, pop a Coral Reefer cassette in the ragtop and cruise on over.
